The Royal Affair at Prague Castle
The Spanish Hall is in the Second Courtyard of the Prague Castle and is one of the most magnificent halls in Prague. It was built from 1601 to 1606 and has been modified several times; the last modification of the Spanish Hall was carried out in the years 1865-1868 for the planned but not realized coronation of the Emperor Joseph I. This is an exquisite hall which was favored by the former President Havel for important ceremonies and banquets - a dining-room fit for a king. Cap 300-500 pax.
Program:
- Arrival, Welcome by Prague Castle guard music
- Enter through Matthias Gate to the historical building of the Prague Castle. At the Rotmayer Hall there will be a Welcome Cocktail served
- Rotmayer hall will be available for the whole evening for smoking and leisure time. On the staircase, there will be a traditional welcome with fanfare, and the actors in historical costume
- During the welcome cocktail guests will enjoy the historical ensemble of traditional instruments, dressed in Renaissance costumes, they will play Late Baroque & Renaissance music
- After the welcome cocktail guests will be accompanied by hostesses to the Spanish hall for a gala dinner
- 5 course Gala dinner incl an aperitif, coffee, dessert and a digestive (Becherovka), a good wine
- Round tables /for 10 or 12 person/ each table will have a long “under tablecloth” plus another cloth on the top, Damask napkins, comfortable chairs etc.
- Five shoulder candlesticks decorated by flowers will be arranged at every table. Green"Benjamin’s" will be complemented flower decoration. Menus on all tables
- Servants in historical costumes
Entertainment:
- Prague Syncopy Saloon Orchestra will perform at dinner time and throughout the evening - 12 musicians. The band performs music of the 20s. Dressed in stylish costumes this band contributes to the atmosphere of the evening.
- Between the main course and dessert guests will enjoy the Opera arias performance - excellent ensemble from Prague Bertramka - Mozarts house (opera singer - Mrs. Nachtigalová and Arco Collegium trio)
- Ballet Performance of The National Theater includes lights, sound, effects, choreography
